DIAPERS & DIAPERING PRODUCTS

All diapers and diapering products should be supplied by child’s parents/guardian.  Each child that is needing diapers should have an adequate supply kept at daycare along with diapering products needed.  The diapering products should have your child’s name on them.  Each child needing this service will have their own area for storing these items.

 

CHILDREN’S RECORDS

I am required to have information on your child.  A packet of forms will be given to you at the time of enrollment.   Each child will need a current Health Care Form filled out by their health care source along with their current immunization record.  Children’s files should stay current with updated information as it arises.

 

DRESS & PLAY TIME

Please dress your child in appropriate clothes for play, keeping in mind that the children usually do art activities daily.  We go outside on a regular basis, weather permitting.  Please make sure children have appropriate clothing for outside play.  On cold days children should have coats, hats, mittens, scarves, boots, and snow suits if necessary.  Outside playtime can be very chilly in Minnesota.  A complete change of clothes should be brought and kept in their daycare  bag in case of an accident that would require a change of clothing.

 

PRE-ENROLLMENT CONFERENCE

A conference will be held by the parent and a program staff person.  We will give you a tour of the daycare, explain our policies, and answer any of your questions.  When the daycare has capacity enrollment, applicants are put on a “waiting list” in the order they are received.

 

WITHDRAWAL FROM PROGRAM

A two week notice of termination in writing is required when a decision is made to not be using Shepherds Inn Daycare for child care.
